The BVNN BKD Groningen collection and processing site is a joint venture between Boskalis Dolman bv and BVNN vof. Contaminated soil has been accepted and cleaned up the site on Winschoterweg in Groningen since 1998. The site has been certified in accordance with the BRL 7500 since June 2007.

The site in Groningen processes the following materials:

• heavily contaminated soil (including soil asbestos)
• mildly contaminated soil (including soil asbestos)
• contaminated sandy dredged material
• sand from sewers, drains, and street sweepers, crushed sand
• contaminated roof gravel
• contaminated granulate from road building
• screened sand.

In addition, the following services are availeble at the site:

• the supply of washed sand in accordance with BRL 9335
• extractive remediation of mineral-rich, stony materials
• testing stored soil and building materials in accordance with the Soil Quality Degree
• transporation to and drom the site in Groningen.
